    This is so beautiful I decided to make it. I wanted a 20" necklace so I used 72" of thread. However, I got only a 13" necklace. My question is, how do I add more thread? Is it possible? Hope you can help. Thanks.

    Yes, you can add new thread. Add the new thread a ways back in the beadwork and re-work the pattern up to where you want to start using the thread. You will have duplicated some work, but it is much better than dealing with knots. The only drawback is you may feel some stiffness where the pattern is duplicated. I usually go back through my work a second time anyway to prevent breakage, so if you are the same then this won't be an issue for you.

    My SIL made me one of these. Well, similar. The one she made, had two rows of beads across the top. I wear it a lot!

    I'm working my way through now. Just for clarification, when you say repeat the pattern until the necklace is as long as you want, I have to return to step 4 for the repetitions?
