The first thing you need when you want to make your own dubstep beats is a program to help you shape your song.
This software is called a beat sequencer. There are many beat sequencers available. Most of them are very expensive and their learning curve will probably be the hardest challenge you took in a while. Some of them are 'affordable', made specially to produce dubstep and are easier to learn.

You have the more expensive music making suites, like logic pro(MAC only), Reason 6 or FLstudio. These programs are capable off making any sound. They are used by professional artists in a wide variety off genres.
Learning to use these types off software is a long and often frustrating process, but it the end your work will pay off.
Prices vary from $400 to $500, so one off these must be a well considered decision.
There are also 2 cheaper alternatives on the market, Dubturbo and Cyber Sequencer. They are build just to make dubstep tracks. This makes them a lot less complex and expensive, while they still offer everything to make dubstep.
Prices are $20 to 40$, which isn't such a big loss at all and they help you learning everything you need to know to create banging tracks.

You also have tons of samples to pick from and once you have worked your way through the video tuts, you will be able to get started creating your first beats in just a mather of minutes!

You all should know Logic Pro. This mac only beat sequencer get's used by all the pros. It's probably the most difficult program to work with, and the most expensive. But if you think you have everything to take this monster on, you will be able to create your own dubstep tracks that are ready for the charts!
Reason 6
Propellerhead Reason
Reason 6 is another big name under the music production software. It is highly suited to create a wobble bass and that characteristic dubstep beat. Unfortunately this program is almost as expensive and difficult as Logic Studio, but for the PC user with the ambition, this should be your way to go.
FL Studio
FL Studio
Fl Studio 10 Producer edition is another great PC alternative for Logic Studio. It has a lot more hardware support then Reason 5 so if you're going to use some real life instruments in your tracks this should be your chose. It's less fit for making dubstep than Reason 5 but it still does the job pretty good. I personally think it's easier to start with FL Studio.

Cyber Sequencer could just be seen as the alternative for DubTurbo. So if you don't like Dubturbo, you could also try this one.
