Don't Spend a Dime to Make Money Online!
I can't make you rich but I can show you how to make realistic extra cash by doing little work online. You can easily follow these steps and utilise them to earn extra income every week whether working from home or work or the library! Making extra cash can be fun and easy and here it's also affordable to everyone - because it's FREE!
The best place to start is with paid per action sites (ALL FREE to join of course!) and are SO easy to use. You can learn so much from simply being an active member of some of these programs and develop your understanding of how to utilise online programs. These are suitable for EVERYBODY! Stay at home Mom's and Dad's, older persons, students, experienced computer users, non-experienced.

STEP 1 - Learn the Lingo!
PTC - Paid to click (you get paid to click on an ad)
PTR - Paid to Read (you get paid to click on an ad link in an email)
PTP - Paid to promote (you get paid to send visitors to a website)
PTSU - Paid to signup/paid to do offers (you get paid to join other programs)
URL/link - website address
Referral - someone you have referred to the program/site and they have joined through your referral link/URL.
Affiliate - someone who sells other people's products through an affiliate link to the sellers website.
TE's - traffic exchanges (you view other people's websites for credits which you can use to have people look at your referral or affiliate links)
Downline builder - a program with multiple programs in it which helps you build a referral base.
PTR - Paid to Read (you get paid to click on an ad link in an email)

STEP 2 - Don't get Scammed!
Don't be fooled by promises and sales letters designed simply to get you to part with your money. Only join reliable programs with proven records. NEVER part with your money to join a program unless you are absolutely certain you will make that money back in a reasonable period. And that requires research and experience!
STEP 3 - Get a Payment Processor Account
Firstly, you will need a (free!) PayPal account (please click on the banner):

WHY? To get PAID of course! Most "paid to" sites use paypal as a payment method to pay its members. PayPal has very rigorous qualification processes for sites so that you can be sure that if the site is PayPal approved, you will get paid. Paypal will not associate with any site which has failed to pay members who have qualified for payment and or failed to adhere to PayPal's other requirements. Many other programs use alertpay which is also reliable and which is why I reccommend both.
You use your email address for payments to you! WHich means that every time you get a payout you will get a notification email.

At this point I cannot actually recommend a program due to squidoo policies however, what I recommend is that you do some research and pick simple programs that have a good reputation for doing what they say. There are plenty out there.
STEP 5 - Be Active!
You cannot rely on anyone else to make you money but you can make yourself money! It is very important that when you join programs that you get active and start clicking ads, doing paid offers, etc. to MAKE YOU MONEY!
Do the math! If you are a member of one "paid to" program it may pay you fairly little in one day for clicking all the ads (bear in mind it is still only a few minutes work). But if you are a member of multiple programs and get paid a little in each it all ads up!

STEP 6 - Get Referrals
A referral is who joins a program from your referral link/URL.

If you don't like a particular program but you have even one active referral they can make you MONEY! SO just because you are not going to utilise a program, you may still get something from joining. If your referral joins from your link You will make money!

EXTRA STEPS
You want more than "paid to" programs?
Can you write articles? Can you market products? Do you like the idea of becoming an eBay seller?
YES! Well you need to become an AFFILIATE!
AN affiliate basically sells OTHER people's products for a commission. You do this by setting up affiliate links which you advertise whether by sending web users to that link or embedding the link within an article or website or blog.
Obviously, you need to get products to sell! Well, I would strongly recommend:

Final Note
Whatever you decide to do, if you join one program do not get distracted by what appear to be better offers! Making MONEY online involves a learning curve. If you can make a FREE program work to make you money there is a chance you may replicate that success with a paid program. But you cannot make that decision until you make that FREE program work!

- An excellent lens on how to make money for individuals starting out online I suppose. Personally I recommend people start as early as possible developing their skills. It's a pretty large learning curve to be honest, for those individuals keen on going through it though I suggest they check out my page at: Make Money Online, I hope you find the information useful.
