Squidcast sent from the lens Make Lemon Curd

I've Used This Lemon Curd Recipe for 30 Years

The reason I've used this recipe dozens of times is because lemon curd, a lovely dessert spread, is always delicious and loved by everyone who tastes it. Because of that, I thought I should share it.

It's quite quick and easy, much easier and quicker to make than jams, jellies or marmalades. The beauty of lemon curd is that it only needs to thicken. It doesn't have to set like jam does. That takes the worry out of making it.

You can eat it spread on bread or scones or use it spread in layer cakes or as a tart.
