I have built many successful blogs over the past 3 years and so I thought I would share with you some of the tips and tricks I have used to build profitable blogs.

But remember, blogging profitably can take a lot of work and will require time put in everyday.

10 Things That Will Make Your Blog Successful

Update Your Blog Daily - Daily updates will drive traffic. Nothing kills a blog more than having weeks of nothing in between posts.

Use a Professional Design - Choose a design that matches your blogs content, is clean and easy to read. Choose a theme that will be appealing to wide ranging audience.

Ping With Each New Post - Use a service such as Pingomat to let search such as Google blog search know that your site has been updated.

Submit Your Posts to Social Networks - Make good use of social bookmarking sites such as Digg. Bookmark some of your better and more popular posts on these sites.

Don't Add Clutter - Clutter such as directory badges, widgets and ads all add clutter to your blog. Keep these to minimum. Every widget, ad etc will also increase your blogs loading time.

Optimize for SEO - Use the All in One SEO plugin to optimize your site for Search Engines.

Submit Your Blog to Directories - Make use of blogging directories to increase your blogs PR and traffic

Use Images in Posts - Images in posts will attract the readers eyes, break up content and make your blog more readable.

Deep Link in Posts - Link to previous content on your blog within new posts.

Add ads from Day One - Adding advertisements to your blog once it has been established can shock your readers. If you choose to use ads, do so from day one.
