We would all like to make professional looking videos, with the same quality as you would see from a top film or outside broadcast unit. Unfortunately most of us are not very good with a camcorder, but with the new camcorders on the market and a little help from books and guides the chance for us to make a decent film is here.

The choices of camcorder are vast and mostly dependant on how much you want to spend on it, bear in mind you might have additional costs with extra memory for film/disks, and lots of other things you will need to make a good video such as a tripod or stand, filters, len's, bag to carry it all in and numberous other things you might well need in the future. There are some good books, magazines and programs on the market that explain how to make good quality films or videos and what you will need.
