Why in the world would you want to make your own dog food? Don't you have enough to do without taking this on also? I mean there are probably over 100 commercial dog foods to choose from (and that's just the dry dog foods.)
The BEST reason as to why you'd want to make your own dog food: your dog's health! Your dog is starving, not for food, but for nutrients. And when he gets the nutrients and enzymes from homemade healthy dog food, he will become healthier. He will be less susceptible to illnesses, diseases, and allergies.

The great thing about making your own dog food is the ease of it. You throw most of the stuff in a blender or food processor. Cook the rest if you want - and unlike humans - most dogs don't care if you overcook the meat, or even cook it at all! I started out cooking the meat, but now I give it raw - even easier and healthier for them.
