- Flyfishing is an art form and I absolutely love it. And flytying (creating your own flyfishing lures) is another art that takes patients to learn and practice to become proficient but once one can tie a decent fly (dry, wet, nymph and streamer patterns) it is amazing how many fish one can catch and release in a day of fishing quality trout water.

- I don't fly fish much anymore, but I do enjoy it. My favorite was to fish ponds and small streams using mostly dry flies, but an occasional slow sinker. Thanks for the reminder to get back out there.

- Very nice lens! I just looked this up because I saw a featured article today about vets and fly fishing--take a look when you get a chance. Maybe you could add their link to your list? If not, disregard. Thanks! (what I read today--http://www.projecthealingwaters.org/)

- Hey I have never tried fly fishing but I found your lens to be very helpful in getting started in the sport. I am more of a bass fisherman. If you get the chance check out my site about fishing tackle equipment.

- A great site. I am still trying to get better at tying my own flies! The tip on a way to make new wings was good. I am doing a lens roll for you to my squidoo page on fly fishing the ozarks, so my "Peps" will find you. Thanks Ray Province

- I live in Ennis, Montana and do a lot of fly fishing. I prefer the rivers instead of the lakes and reservoirs because it is always intriguing to see what is around the next bend, no matter how many times I have floated it before!
You have a lot of information packed into this lens, good job! Five Stars!
