Make Money with Scrapbooks

Another great home business idea? Scapbooking has been a booming field in recent years and there are many who have profited wildly from it. So is a home based business in scrapbooking really a good idea or has the scrapbooking field matured to the realms of the corporate only approach?

To a large extent the answer lies in your own hands. You will absolutely need drive and passion to get a scrapbook business to a point where it will provide an income large enough to replace your salary but even if you are not so driven you can still do well at this business on a part time level. Yes there is good money to be made treating it as a hobby!

This is of course true for many if not most home businesses which tend to reward based on the effort put in. If every home business idea was easy there would be nobody left to do the salaried jobs. That said, there are some advantages to scrapbooking as a home business.

Among the advantages are the ability to get started in the business for next to nothing. No premises, no staff, no need for truckloads of supplies. Add to that the ability to work to your own schedule and to the ability to exercise your creative streak and the positives start to add up.

The negatives? Probably those common to any home business, the need to avoid distraction, the need for some discipline and the need to market yourself. Marketing does not have to be such a chore, you can cheaply get the word out to start through referrals, local newspapers and noticeboards and even just have friends keep your business in mind. Remember, you can build up your business at your own pace.
