How to make shopping fun

Whether you get fun from shopping or not, it's all the matter of your attitude and the aim of the shopping process for you personally. My thoughts below are for those who don't really like shopping of any kind (traditional, fun online shopping or social shopping) and find it boring (which, I believe, is actually impossible).

Think of what could make shopping fun for you:

- A great number of people consider shopping a rather powerful antidepressant, especially women. The shopping process helps you to relax and simply throw all your problems away for at least some period of time because when you are completely wrapped up in the process, there's only you, a picture of what you wish to buy in your mind and your money. All the rest is somewhere aside.

- The shopping may be fun because when you spend money you can finally see the reason why you actually worked so hard all this time!!! (Especially if it's some dream item you've been wishing to buy for such a long time).

- If you shop out, you can try on lots of stuff (luxury clothes!) knowing that you're not gonna buy it anyway because the price is outrageous, just get the fun from making your own fashion show at the expense of the store and their fitting rooms.

- If you buy online, isn't that just fun discovering that you found a much better price for the item that your neighbor just bought a couple of days ago in the local store without bothering to compare the prices and pick up a cheaper variant? Moreover, if you try group purchase, you may find even greater discounts.

- Think of the situation when you finally found what you were dreaming of but%u2026the moment you were going to buy it you discovered that your credit card ran out of money. Didn't you feel miserable? Now think of the pleasure and fun you will catch when you do have the money to purchase it!

Who gets more fun from shopping and why?

They say, guys don't really like the very 'act of shopping', but just the acquiring of the thing they're shopping for. I will not argue with that though I believe not all guys feel the same about shopping. This is mostly the area of women. Yes, we do love having fun shopping especially with lots of money in a pocket. Why? It's probably because we always "need" lots of things to buy to look beautiful and we really need to feel the joy from visiting fun shopping places.

This is not the same with men. My boyfriend used to tell me: "I hate spending time on shopping buying lots of actually useless things. The only thing I really need is a roof over my head, cold beer, good music, and a nice company with a beautiful lady would actually make it complete".

About SocialShopAdept

Hi world! My name is Jennifer and I'd like to tell you a couple of words about myself. If you look at my screen name, you may guess that I'm somehow connected with social shopping%u2026 In what way? I simply love it! But I'm not just a fan spreading word of mouth.

First of all I'm a critical thinker and have an inquisitive mind. I love writing for the purpose of delivering some message (which, I truly believe, may be useful for someone), not just meditating about what's on my mind. I'm interested in plenty of things and all I write about appeals to me in some way or another.

Why do I have a particular interest in social shopping? That's a comparatively new phenomenon in our society and an excellent chance to bring in something to that, to make a voice that will be heard. An engaged reader of my stuff is the best reward for me. Hope you are one of them! :)
