- Love the Lens. I have tried using torn material as yarn and the sweater came out gorgeous. I gave it to my little sister whom I had created it for. Love the idea of going Green with crafts.

- I love to crochet with plarn! I have a big trashbag of bags right now that I picked up from someone on freecycle. This lens is making me want to get busy making more things!
I also have crocheted rag rugs with t-shirts for years.....well over 10 years. I have lots of t-shirt rounds cut and should get busy making some of those too.
Watching the video on your lens makes me realize that I can do my t-shirts cut thinner and still make nice rugs. Mine are thick.

- Great lens on a terrific topic! I'm old enough to remember learning how to knit and weave with fabric scraps, which we now call recycled yarn. It amazes me how many things I took for granted growing up are now trendy and hip. 5* from me.

- Hi there, this page and the links are really great: 5-star lens. Combining recycling and yarn in a lens- awesome! As I was checking out knitting-related lenses, I was considering making a link list of Squidoo knitting lenses... either on my "Knitting on the Internet" lens or a completely separate one. What do you think, and would you like this lens or another to be on a list? Visit my lens & tell me what you think! Thanks,
