make a wind generator

Wind power is a great backup for when you have long periods of cloudy days. So it makes sense to build a wind generator too!

A few cheap items from your hardware store and a couple of hours can give you free green energy from your very own windmill.

I have written my instructions in very simple english so that anybody can build this power producing windmill.
This windmill can power your household appliances and you can make it for less than $200! In fact, you can build my windmill for as little as $100 by using my secret methods that very few people know about!

Not only will you easily make this on your own, it will actually look like a professional built it! This really is THE guide to making a quality windmill. In fact, a few Earth4Energy members are actually selling their homemade windmills for a nice profit!

I have actually built a diy wind turbine in my backyard. I can say that it generates enough power to cut my electric bills in half. Definitely worth it and I have already seen a return on the investment. You don't need to build one so big that it will get you completely off the grid, unless that's what you want to do. Generating your own energy is a great feeling, an if you can do it and have the room, go for it.

This is a great idea-and a lot easier than I would have expected. Thanks!

Thats what I was looking for. Do you have any lenses on water power?

I'm all about green energy, but assumed it was too expensive to create right now. I really appreciate your lens. It's gotten me started on thinking green again.

The Basic Windmill

A typical wind power system comprises of a tower and five blades to churn out wind energy. The length of the wind tower varies depending on the location of your house. You may need a longer tower if you are in low-wind zone; you can work with a shorter tower if you live by the beach. Using a wind generator, this wind energy can be converted into useful electrical energy to be employed at home for running various electrical appliances. You can even store the power generated for later use, making wind generators more efficient than convention power systems.

What Wind Power Can Do For You

Wind power solutions work best when the following conditions are met:
%u2022 You have a house or farmhouse spread over a big area. Typically, wind power solutions are employed in areas that spread over an acre.
%u2022 The average wind speed in your area is around 11 miles per hour. If you stay in a place that has little wind flow, your system will not work. Consult an expert before installing the wind power solution at home.
%u2022 You need to draw water from external sources. You can install a wind power system even when you do not need to draw water from outside. However, if you need to draw water from outside on a regular basis, a wind power system offers the best solution.
%u2022 Your house needs a lot of uninterrupted power supply. Combating those power outages is easy with the pollution-free wind power systems. You need no longer worry about a break in your work because of a power uncertainty.
