These days there's a lot of hype about making money online, and many people are selling get-rich schemes that often seem too good to be true. I don't expect to become a millionaire overnight, but I am interested in making even more money online than I do now. I started this lens so that I would have a place where I could present what I've learned and what I'm learning and pass it along to others.

Before you give anyone money, check them out. Use the links here to get started. You should also use search engines to learn more - often you'll find forum threads or posts that will give you a bit more insight into the pros and cons of legitimate online business opportunities.
And one other piece of advice -- set up a hotmail or gmail or other special email address to use when first signing up for anything that you're not 100% sure about. If it proves to be legitimate, you can always change your account's email address. If not, at least you won't be bombarded with loads of spam.

There is, however, another way to build an eBay business - one that doesn't require you to sell a single thing on eBay. This "other way" opportunity is based on the eBay affiliate program (eBay Partner Network) and a great tool that makes entry into this opportunity not only possible but also super easy. It's called "Build A Niche Store" (BANS).
As an affiliate of eBay you promote their products in exchange for a commission on all sales that you refer. You connect people to particular eBay products through your own network of websites. In exchange for your efforts eBay pays you up to 75% of the revenue they make from each sale you refer plus up to $35 for each new active eBay member you refer. You can earn revenue simply by connecting people to the products listed in the eBay marketplace. You get to partner with the best branded marketplace in the world. eBay's product inventory becomes YOUR product inventory and yet you do NOT have to stock items, deal with customers, organize shipping or process refunds. As an eBay store owner, I just love this part of the equation!
The development of Build A Niche Store (BANS) is a legitimate business opportunity that enables you to build eBay affiliate websites targeted to any eBay niche you want.
Here are a few examples, one targeting Race Cars, one targeting Golf Equipment, one that targets collectors of netsuke, a type of miniature sculpture from Japan, and one for collectors of vintage Mexican silver jewelry and silverware:

Your store content is all search engine friendly which will provide the foundation for attracting targeted traffic from the search engines, and you can then use the development features to attract more targeted visitors which will in turn mean more eBay affiliate commissions.
