There is, however, another way to build an eBay business - one that doesn't require you to sell a single thing on eBay. Before you give anyone money, check them out. Use the links here to get started. You should also use search engines to learn more - often you'll find forum threads or posts that will give you a bit more insight into the pros and cons of legitimate online business opportunities.
And one other piece of advice -- set up a hotmail or gmail or other special email address to use when first signing up for anything that you're not 100% sure about. If it proves to be legitimate, you can always change your account's email address. If not, at least you won't be bombarded with loads of spam.
