Make Money by Driving Traffic to eBay

So many things have changed with EPN (eBay Partner Network) since I started this lens. eBay Partner Network announced the biggest change in their affiliate pay structure in August of 2009. EPN is no longer paying for sales and leads. They've implemented a totally new model called Quality Click Pricing; now eBay pays affiliates for each click sent to an eBay site. No one really understands how the formula works, but it is very similar to Adsense; you get paid for each click.

Payment Structure

eBay uses Quality Click Pricing model which affiliates get paid per click instead of sales and leads. We don't know how the formula works, but eBay evaluates the value of each click by using both short-term and long-term revenue of the traffic that the publisher drives to eBay.

UPDATE : The Following Payment Structure is No Longer in Effect

Monthly winning bid revenue tiers
You are paid a percentage of eBay's revenue if the winning bidder is referred by you. You get paid :

50% for $0.00 - $99.99
55% for $100.00 - $4,999.99
60% for $5,000.00 - $199,999.99
65% for $200,000.00 - $699,999.99
70% for $700,000.00 - $2,999,999.99
75% for $3,000,000.00+

Monthly new active users (ACRUs)
You get extra bonus when your referral register and become an active eBay member. You get paid :

$25 for 0 - 49 recruited
$28 for 50 - 1,999 recruited
$31 for 2,000 - 29,999 recruited
$35 for 30,000+ recruited

Method 2 - phpBay Pro

phpBay Pro is another excellent script which can be used for building an eBay affiliate website. The main difference from BANS is that phpBay is an addon script. phpBay needs a website or a blog in order for it to work.

phpBay Pro has a WordPress plugin which can be installed very easily. All my phpBay sites are made with WordPress plugin. It is as simple as uploading the file and activating the plugin.

Which one to use?

I use both scripts for my websites as you can see from the BANS and phpBay gallery on the bottom of the page. Both work very well and each of them has pros and cons.

But generally, if you want to integrate EPN with your existing site or blog, I'd go with phpBay and if you want to make a fresh EPN website, I'd suggest that you use BANS.

Both scripts can be customized anyway you want it to look. phpBay is more flexible since it can be integrated to your existing website.
