It all starts with a good brush. This lush, soft kabuki brush provides full coverage of our mineral foundations. The brush is made of soft sable and goat hair and measures 2.5 inches.

Mae Minerals Flawless Face:

1. Start with a clean and moisturized face. If you've recently applied moisturizer, wait at least 20 minerals before continuing to avoid dark streaks.

2. With the lid of your jar screwed on, turn the jar over and tap the bottom so that some of the minerals fill the lid.

3. Unscrew the lid and take your kabuki brush and swirl it into the minerals. You do not need a lot. Tap the handle of the brush on the counter to settle the minerals into the brush. You shouldn't see a lot of minerals on the top of the brush.

4. Contrary to directions from other companies, do not buff the minerals onto your skin--nothing should ever be forced into your pores. Instead, use a small and gentle circular motion, starting at the outside of the face. After doing the outside, circle onto the nose and cheeks.

5. Our mineral foundations provide great coverage, but everyone needs a concealer once in awhile. Apply that using a concealer brush. Dip the brush into the minerals a pat it over the area/blemish.

6. If you wear blush, use your contour or blush brush to apply a small amount to the apples of your cheeks. Again, using circular motions, blend the blush slightly outward.

7. If you wear veil, apply a thin layer using the same directions. Mineral veil helps aid in oil absorption throughout the day.

A daily facial cream containing the super moisturizing properties of Hyaluronic Acid (HA). This is a naturally occurring product found in the sinovial joints of humans and animals. Our body produces an abundance of HA when young, but after 18-25 years of age gradually diminishes, with a 50% decrease by the age of 50. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) has excellent water retaining properties, visually it gives fullness to the face ("baby face") and when applied to skin, eases wrinkles, fine lines and smoothes the surface with a slight "plumping" action. Whether taken as a supplement or in a topical solution, the benefits are well documented. This velvety cream base contains a natural blend of 5 oils and exotic Mango and Shea Butter, to increase elasticity and ease dryness.This cream leaves your skin smooth and soft, great for all skin types!!

Refillable Sponge Jar

This refillable jar comes with a mirrored lid and is designed to dispense loose mineral powder. It's great for foundations, bronzers, veils or even concealers. Some women prefer using a sponge instead of a brush. Less mess! It holds approximately 9 grams of powder. It is just a bit smaller than our full-size 30g jar.

These are $12 empty or $25 filled with your choice of powder.

Determining your skin tone and choosing the perfect shade
Lay your arm on a piece of plain white paper while standing in natural light (near a window or outside), and you should be able to see a distinct undertone (do not stand in direct sunlight):

If you distinctly see pink (you don't see any yellow), you have pink (cool) undertones.

If you distinctly see yellow (you don't see any pink), you have yellow (warm) undertones.

If you can't decide because you see both pink and yellow, or you don't really see anything, most likely you are a neutral. We also have neutral shades with slight undertones.

If you have Olive skin or are African-American, we have shades for you, too.

Do you charge sales tax?

Mae Minerals%u2122 is based in Minnesota. We are required by law to collect sales tax for orders shipped to Minnesota addresses.

Did you change your name?

Yes. We changed our name to Mae Minerals%u2122 in 2010. As a mineral makeup company, we've been in business since 2006.

Do you accept returns?

Due to the nature of our products, Mae Minerals%u2122 does not accept returns. We suggest you take advantage of our sample sizes, to try out colors/products before you purchase a full size.

What are the different sizes that you carry?

There are two different sample sizes available for every product. The size of our Full Size varies by product.

Small Sample Size - .75-1 gram in a baggie - $2.00

This is more like a color sample. There is enough product for at least one application (maybe more for eye shadows or MVPs), but is designed for those that wish to see and touch the colors. If you are already a mineral makeup user, this is a good size to order to determine your correct foundation shade.

Large Sample Size - 1-1.5 grams in container - $5.00

This size is perfect for trying any of our minerals for the first time. There is enough for at least 3 applications of foundation and veils and even more for eye shadows and MVPs. Because they are in a container, they are a lot easier to use than samples contained in baggies.

Full Size Eye Shadows, MVPs & Blushes - 3-4 grams in container - $12.00

These come in a 10 gram container and can last up to 3 months.

Full Size Foundations, Bronzers & Veils - 10-12 grams in container - $20.00

These come in a 30 gram container and can last up to 3-6 months.

Refill Bags for Foundations, Bronzers & Veils - 10-12 grams in a baggie - $18.00

These baggies will refill your 30 gram container and can last up to 3-6 months.

Addiction. is a soft balm and is almost too soft for the chapstick-like container we use. We also offer it in clear 3g pots/jars.

This is not your typical lip balm and is really more like a thick lip gloss. For this reason, men don't like it for daytime use, but if they put it on before bed, they will wake up with the softest lips EVER! :)
