Makeup to Look Younger?

Yes! (I actually learned this from my 14 year old daughter.....)
I have always thought that wearing makeup would make me look older, so after turning 35 I stopped wearing makeup, in hopes of looking younger.... But unfortunately that didn't help....... At all!
Moving to Florida from New York was also a bad move for the health of my skin, since I absolutely love the sun and can't stay away from the beach!
After listening to my teenage daughter tell me over and over again that I should start wearing makeup to look younger, I finally gave in!
Boy was she right!
If you are having a hard time getting older (like I am....) and you want to look younger, I strongly advise you to start wearing the right kind of makeup to help you look at least 10 years younger!
I'll show you how.....

Wearing Makeup!

Now, it is extremely important to wear the right kind of makeup for your skin!
For women over 35 I strongly recommend wearing anti-aging makeup, which will help minimize the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on your face!
If you have bad skin, (like me....), prone to acne and age spots, besides the anti-aging makeup, you should also wear makeup with medication against acne! It is amazing the stuff they have out there to help us ladies still look good into our 40s and beyond!

About Makeup...

Some Helpful Tips....

Ladies, I'm sure you know this, but I'm gonna say it anyway..... Do not buy cheap makeup! Invest in a good quality product for your skin! Buy a known brand!
Second tip: always blend your foundation with your fingertips! Using a sponge will make you look older! Don't forget to apply a little bit of makeup under your eyes as well, otherwise you are gonna look like a zombie!
Last tip: your makeup color should be the exact same color as the inside of your wrist! When in doubt, better get one a little bit darker than whiter! Trust me on this one........ I learned my lesson the hard way!! (You do not wanna look like a ghost.....)

Last Tips...

Makeup to Look Younger!

When applying your new foundation, just add very little first, starting on your cheeks, forehead, nose, chin and very little under your eyes.... Remember, less is more!
Stay away from red lipstick!! Red lipstick will make you look older! Just wear nude or light pink lipstick.... Very little! After a certain age, wearing lipstick will make us look old, instead of young....
Do not go heavy on your eyes either! If you must wear something, just apply a fine line over your eyes, not under!
I usually only wear foundation. Nothing else.
