Very Basic Instructions for Making Your Own Wedding Bouquet

  • Gather all the flowers, greenery, and extra elements that you think you want to include in the bouquet.

Separate the individual flowers and elements so they can be used individually (you don't want to work with clumps of flowers).

If you are working with fresh flowers be sure to remove the foliage from the stems.

Start arranging the flowers loosely in your hand.
When you are satisfied with the arrangement tie the flowers together with floral wire or green pipe cleaner.

Alternatively, you could use a foam bouquet holder and arrange flowers in foam.

Embellish with ribbons tied loosely or in an appropriate bow.
