Doggy Cookies
A great snack for that hungry canine.
Ingredients
4 Cups Whole-wheat flour
2 TBSP Baking powder
2 Cups Peanut Butter
2 Cups milk
1 Cup Oatmeal
Recipe
Preheat oven to 375°
In a bowl mix flour, oatmeal and baking powder.
In another bowl, combine peanut butter and milk.
Add wet mixture to dry and mix well.
Turn out dough on a floured board and knead for 5 mins
Roll dough ¼ inch thick and cut out shapes.
lace on greased baking sheet. Bake 20 min. or until lightly brown.
Cool on a rack and store in an airtight container.
Chicken Snacks
(this recipe was originally named Chicken and Garlic Snacks but because of the possibility that garlic can be harmful to dogs, I've eliminated that ingredient from the recipe)
Dogs love these.
Ingredients
2 cups whole-wheat flour
2 cups regular flour
2 cups white cornmeal
6 tbsp olive oil
3 eggs (beaten)
1 cup juice from boiling chicken breasts
2 pounds chicken breast
Recipe
Place olive oil, fresh eggs, chicken stock, and boiled chicken in a food processor.
Process until slightly chunky.
Then mix in the flours and cornmeal.
Place on greased cookie sheets.
Bake 20 minutes in a 450-degree oven.
There's two to get you started. We'll be adding more on a regular basis.
