Step by Step Instructions to Making Homemade Candles

1. For Making Homemade Candles a Double Boiler or in fact any cooking utensil can be used which is readily available in your kitchen therefore I did not mention is the things needed list. if you have this then great if not, do not worry.Any other cooking utensil would do just fine.
Put the wax in the boiler heat it up to a temperature of 170-190°F (Fahrenheit) or 80-105°C (Celsius) depending on scale of your thermometer.
Let the wax meat and in the meantime lets move on to the next step
2. Now the pre-tabbed wicks come into play use a glue to stick it on the container.Since they are already tabbed this should not be a problem.

3. To make sure the wick does not get covered while pouring the wax use a clothespin. NOT necessarily but if you think it makes the process easier then do so. I personally do not use clothespin as i use longer wicks.

4. Now take a look at your wax, has it melted. If you want to add fragrance now is the time to do so. Most waxes which are available in the market already have fragrance oils in them. Always check for what it contains. If the wax is melted that means that all contents are thoroughly mixed. If so then Let the pouring begin
-While pouring be careful not to fill the container to the maximum limit.Pour such that the wick is exposed.

5. You can see the level to which the wax is poured then let the wax cool down. It is preferred that you let it cool down overnight but a minimum of about 6-8 hours is usually required. Once cooled remove clothespin trim the wick to make it look neat that's it and You Are Done!
