I bought Affiliate Project X at about the 3 week point in my affiliate marketing career. It was around that time that I was flooded with so much internet marketing knowledge, and I didn't know what to do with it all.

Pre-selling is the art of warming up a potential customer to consider the product you are looking to promote. Remember, merchants spend a lot of time and energy tweaking their sales letters to convert, there is no need to go in with the hard sell, directing them to another page of hard selling.

As an affiliate, it is your job to introduce your customers to your product and then guide them to the merchant page where they can make the purchase themselves.

The book tells you how to find a popular product, create an irresistible bonus, and outlines how to pre-sell - the right way.

The affiliate diary teaches you how to build an opt-in list very effectively and almost effortlessly where you can get you best returns, through direct e-mail marketing.

He outlines which niches work best, setup a squeeze page (telling you exactly what needs to be included) and how to build the list, and how to direct the traffic to your product.

The Workhorse Method is a foolproof way to making money online. It isn't easy, in fact it can be down right boring, but if you want consistent results for your efforts, the workhorse is the way to go, especially for someone with no money and little experience.

The workhorse method has you taking Bum marketing to the extreme, basically a numbers game by drafting a ton of content, promoted properly, and allowing it to stick.

If you are new to the internet marketing game, this is an excellent technique to get started with because it will force you to develop to experience very quickly, just through the amount of articles and blog posts you will be writing.

You will get to see first hand what works and what doesn't and you will able to see yourself improve within a few weeks. A follow up from the previous book The Adwords Miracle Guide, this is a PPC campaign that uses Keyword Elite to monitor search results and almost a staged bidding system to cut your losses if a campaign isn't converting.

Basically, you would monitor competing ads in your niche using a keyword analysis tool and you will see if you can mimic the results by running an ad in controlled increments to measure profitability without wasting money.

This method shows you how to find the latest, hottest products using CBTrends to help track product performance an then it goes a step further on how to promote these new products that only the gurus often get keyed in on.

Unlike the other methods, this one has a short time frame of being effective, so it focuses on sourcing the highest converting products while the competition isn't too fierce, but eventually being slowly pushed out of the market.

But that's OK, because you walk away with the sales, while the marketers that jumped on the bandwagon two months too late come in with the heavy competition.

Is Affiliate Project X Effective in selling in niches other than Internet Marketing Products?
Yes. Affiliate Project X spends its discussion on working with any informational product. If you have ever browsed the Clickbank marketplace lost in a sea of options, a main feature of this book allows you to cut through all the product noise and choose products that you can promote, and promote well.

Can the Affiliate Project X Techniques work for physical products as well?
Yes. However, they will need to be modified to maximize the most impact. Many of the methods deal with the nuances of selling informational products, but you can quickly see how these techniques can be integrated into a non-info product promotion, as well as finding opportunities to include info products with your other sales.

Do the methods require use of Google Adwords or PPC campaigns?
No. The ebook has steps to promote your products without using PPC campaigns at all, and even for a few methods that keep it as part of the process, it is clear that they can be converted to another technique.

I've read a lot of internet marketing material, and I would still put Affiliate Project X on my short shelf. It gives you practical solutions to increase your internet marketing campaigns immediately with actions that you can actually do while reading.

If you've ever struggled with selecting your Clickbank products to promote, the product selection techinques outlined in Methods 4, 5, and 6 are simply awesome. It really puts it into perspective, and a good product can make or break your internet marketing career.

I'd say those methods alone are worth the price of the book.
