In order to get people to click on your links, you need a lot of traffic. Search engine optimization and article writing are great ways to get traffic. You will also need to make sure your Google Ads blend in with your website's template.

Your Competitors

I recommend doing Google Adsense if you are just going to use a free blog that allows ads like Blogger because if you use it on your main website where you sell your products, you are pretty much giving away all your customers when they see "70% off all products" ads. Like if I was selling medical gloves, I wouldn't make a blog about medical gloves with ads about medical gloves. I would rather not have ads and just link to my main website.

Google Adsense Payment Threshold

Google will not issue a payment until you reach $100. Usually you can get a check or get it straight to your Paypal account. I have heard of some people getting banned when they got around $100 only to get their account banned because Google just recently decided to check if they followed their Adsense policies and webmaster policies.

Other Search Engine Adsense Programs

There are a lot of other search engine programs to make money with Adsense made by other search engines but today Google nearly owns around 70% of searches done in the United States leaving the other search engines with very little people that would want to do an Adsense program with them.
