Making Money with Triond: My Triond Earnings

Triond allows you to get paid to write articles without having some of the requirements of other sites (word count, etc..). However, Triond does require that all content be original and that you include tags (important for SEO!) and an image (from their collection of images) with your article. I like to use Triond as a place to backlink to other articles and also to write articles on brief topics that do not have enough words to meet the word count requirement of sites like InfoBarrel and Bukisa.

At Triond you can earn money in three ways. The first is based upon page view. Triond is not forthcoming with an algorithm for earnings per page view and it varies based upon the site's income and the revenue brought in by your articles. (In other words, articles on different topics will earn different amounts per page view.) When you first join Triond, this is the only way to make money. Once you have reached minimum payout (50 cents via Paypal), you can increase your earnings by integrating your Google Adsense ID. Your Adsense ID will be portrayed on Adsense ads on your articles 50% of the time. Triond's Adsense ID will be placed in the ads the other 50% of the time. Additionally, once you have reached payout, you can also refer members to Triond<. You will earn 10% of the revenue from your referrals' articles.

I wrote my first article for Triond on June 29, 2011 and then did not write another article until the end of July. Since then I write articles on Triond semi-regularly to create backlinks to my InfoBarrel articles, Squidoo pages, etc... I don't use Triond as my main source of online income but more to increase my earnings on other sites and for some extra "bonus" income. My earnings have been slow to start, but hopefully they will increase as time goes on. I only earned my first payout in November, 2011 and therefore, have only been able to use Google Adsense and refer new writers to Triond since mid-November. This Squidoo will chronicle my Triond earnings.
