Making Money with Bukisa: My Bukisa Earnings

Bukisa is a paid to write site that allows you to earn through Google Adsense. Essentially, your Google Adsense ID is used for ads on your articles 60% of the time and Bukisa's ID is used the other 40%. If you don't have or like Adsense, you have the option of using Chikita instead. Your Google Adsense ID is also inserted into a percentage of the articles written by any writers you refer to Bukisa as well. You can write both regular articles and specially formatted "How To" articles for Bukisa.

Bukisa used to pay their writers directly based upon page views and their own Bukisa index which based upon the revenue the site earned determined how much the writers earned per page view. In December, 2010, Bukisa began to wean out their payment structure and instead gave users the option to integrate Adsense or Chitika. This change was final on January 13, 2011. This page will only chronicle my earnings from Bukisa after January 1, 2011. Prior to January 1, 2011, I had 14 Bukisa articles.

As you will see below, I have not been diligent in writing articles for Bukisa, in fact with the exception with a couple of bursts of articles--which was essentially my converting my old eHow articles that weren't appropriate for InfoBarrel to Bukisa articles after the eHow Worker's Compensation Program went under. As you will also see below, my Bukisa earnings are particularly low. This is in part because I have so few articles and they do not make good use of SEO nor are they strongly backlinked. I have decided to focus on other get paid to write sites over Bukisa and in the future only plan to use my Bukisa articles to create backlinks for my articles on sites like InfoBarrel and Squidoo and will consider any income earned from my Squidoo as a happy bonus!
