Making Money with PLR

What is PLR ?
There are a lot of ways to earn money online but one of the best ways is to utilize Private Label Rights (PLR) products. Products with PLR rights offer an excellent opportunity to grow your business without having to spend a lot of cash. You can create products in most any niche that you enjoy. It is no longer necessary to be an expert a topic to make money in a niche. PLR products allow you to rely on the expertise of another.
In this report I want to give you a brief overview of PLR basics. If you decide to investigate Private Label Rights further, I have included several links (in the links area below) to both free and paid classes. I included resources that I believe will help you get further along in this business.
Before you start to invest any time or money in PLR products, it is very important to understand what Private Label Rights are:

Private Label Rights
PLR rights let you use the work of another author like it's your own. This gives you the right to put your name as author or creator, and then resell the product. The majority of PLR products allow you to change the product itself. You can keep the product like it is and sell it, or make changes to personalize it. Those changes can be a little as adding an introductory paragraph or as complex as rewriting the entire content using the PLR as a basic outline. You can generally make as many or as few changes as you like. Any time you can change content of someone's work, it is considered Private Label Rights.
Sometimes you are able to claim copyright, but other times the copyright remains with the original owner. You can resell the products, and most times can give it away. Private label rights do not allow you to pass on the Private Label Rights to your customers. The ability to change the content is only for you to use.
It is important that you know exactly what rights are being given to you when you purchase PLR content. Always check the license agreement. In the following section, I will show you an example of a basic license agreement.

License Agreement
I want to show you some of the information you normally see in a PLR license agreement. You will usually be given the license agreement with the product. It is a simple checklist and easy to read. The agreement should clearly lay out what you can and cannot do with the PLR product. If you do not see this information with you PLR, make sure to ask for it and get it in writing.

Here is an example:

* You may add / edit or remove content (yes/no)
* Can be packaged with products for sale (yes/no)
* Can be offered as a bonus for products sold (yes/no)
* Includes graphics (yes/no)
* Can be added to paid membership sites (yes/no)
* Can be given away (yes/no)
* Can sell Private Label Rights (yes/no)
* Can split the product down into articles (yes/no)
* Can give away a branded version with your affiliate links (yes/no)
* Allow buyer to sell resale rights (yes/no)

While you don't have to memorize the checklist, it's a good idea to be very familiar with it.
The key is to simply ask questions when you are unsure. Always read the license agreement associated with the product to get the specifics and understand exactly what rights you have or don't have.
