Making Money With Squidoo, It's Easy!

With Squidoo if you want to make money, you need lenses and you need a lot of lenses, you need to have fun and be passionate about your work, but you also need to publish a lot of lenses on a regular basis. now this also means that you have to edit them regularily and also make use of Google Analytics and Squidutils, but for the most part, teh more you edit, the better off you are.

In a way, making money on Squidoo is a bit of a long distance money making marathon. See, if you write and publish a lens a day then edit them at least once a week, as you grow and learn the Squidoo ropes, you will make money. Now, some do not make money, and they give the money to charity.

They are, after a fashion, mkaing money just not for themselves. it is good to love what you do... it is even better to have a few lenses that are "giving" to others. Even ten percent to charity is great.

The other reason why making money means you need to publish you lenses on a regular basis, is that people will "See" you at some point, and since with Google AdSense and Kontera Squidoo puts the revenue in a "pot" and oyu make a few cents based on the ranking on your hubs, you can potenitally make money with more quality lenes.

So, you still want to make money on Squidoo well, you can and it is easy to do so, you need to add links to your lenses but also have content that peopel both want and need. I had starrted on Squidoo and did not understand that "big text" is not so great. You want to make money you need to let people find something good about your work.

The longer a person is on your lens the more likely they will click on a Google AdSense which they will consider to be useful to them. This is very having very good and powerful tags come into play. Look at your lens and decide what words amke good tags.

The better the tag the more likely the content will relate and be found by others. People want to find you lens. You want to make money. So, add some useful tags not too many but not too few. Just enough for your work.

The next step to making money is a bit of work, but in the end worth every effort you do.

Here are ten things I have learned that have helped me make money with Squidoo:

1) Write a lens frequently. The more lenses you have the likely it is to make money.

2) Pay attention to the Health Stats.

3) Have at least A few Text Modules, a Link Modules, A poll module, a video module and a comment module.and then some profit modules such as cafepress, and amazon and eBay

4) Edit your lenses on a regular basis. Then send out a Squidcast on your newly edited lens.

5) Comment on others lenses, that is a good beginning. This will encourage participation ( and now earn you points!)

6) Look at the lenses which rank the highest what will improve your lens?

7) Link between your lenses and if you link to another persons lens tell them.

8) Social Networking Sites are a must, and help build traffic and make you money

9) Tags tags and fix the tags that need fixing, having about 6 to 10 tags works well for my lenses, but make them good tags,

10) Know that the lenses you started with need as much love as the ones which are doing great... otherwise traffic will go down.

As with any of the lenses or other online articles we write, you need to have a good traffic soruce. One such source is Squidoo itself. The others are social networking sites and of course the search engines.

Now, for the msot part, search engine traffic is the traffic you want to getto make more money for you and for your business. Of course, Google does have ways of knowing if you are doing this in a good manner or not. Rememeber that you can add links and still not get "ranked" high with any of the main search engines.

So, give yourself a good start to making money and use your health stats that Squidoo has and work with it to buld up good links to your lenses and to others lenses. Write a good comment on other lensmasters lenses. It helps get traffic, but often lensmaster will "like" your work and will rate it.

They may even add a lens of your on one of the lenses they have. So link building is a must, but so is cummunity on Squidoo. This is a great way to build up your presnece on Squidoo but also build up your Reserve Hopper, and get paid.
