Neopets: Making Neopoints - It's Fun and Easy!

Learn all about neopoints and how to make neopoints on Neopets here. The currency of Neopets is in "neopoints". Neopoints is what lets you buy items, open a shop, play some games, and take care of your pets!

I have been playing Neopets for about 8 years, so I know the in's and out's of the Neopet world and how to make neopoints.

How do you make most of your neopoints?

There are hundreds of games to play to obtain neopoints. This is the best way to start making neopoints. Find some games that you find easy, and that make fast neopoints. Some of my favorites are below. They are fast paced so it is easy to make neopoints in a quick time. Some games you can make 1000 np per play, but it takes longer to play those games.

Be sure to explore all of the games to find out which ones you like! You can add up to 12 games to your favorites list for easy access.

Sell your items

You can open a Neopets shop and sell items that you don't want. This is another great way to make neopoints because you can get tons of free items on Neopets everyday by doing your DAILY DUTIES.

Items on Neopets sell for a certain price depending on the rarity of the item. To make sure you are pricing your item at a decent price, use the SHOP WIZARD to see what other users are selling the item for in their shop.

Want neocash instead of neopoints?

Neocash is fairly new for neopets. Instead of having points, you can use real money to obtain NC (neocash) and buy items only available with NC. Sometimes they will give out free NC but not very often. The items you can buy with neocash cannot be sold, but can be used and given away. They have not neglected the free items though, because they make new free items and new neocash items everyday!

Contests

They always have at least 23 contests you can enter. Sometimes they have extra contests if there is a certain event going on (ie: Neopets having a birthday, Halloween, Christmas, game events). You can obtain prizes for winning, like neopoints, items, and/or a trophy! Plus, you get featured on the page!

There are a lot of different contests. For example, If you are an artist, you might want to enter the "Art Contest" where you can enter any neopet art related thing you created (ie: drawing, painting). If it gets picked, you get a prize and you get featured on the neopets page art contest page forever.

Bethany, you did a very good job describing all of the different ways to make neopoints on neopets! This page covered all of the ways, that I know of, to make neopoints. Keep up the good work!
