Make Soda Pop at Home!

Wish you had a soda fountain in your home?  I don't know if your family is like mine when it comes to soda, but it is a major part of our grocery budget!

My wife's preference is, of course, diet cola.  My son's preference is cola, any brand, sometimes with cherry, sometimes he'll grab Mom's diet if he's out of his particular choice.  As a teenager, he can literally line his bedroom walls with empty soda cans!

My daughter?  She's easy to please with any cherry or "Dr" flavored soda, but she only drinks a couple sodas a day.  Me? Oh, I drink whatever I can afford after buying for the family.  Lemon-lime soda, root beer, cola, and "Dew" flavored do it for me.  I WILL not touch any cherry or lemon or lime flavored cola, yeah vanilla too (you all know which cola company I speak of)!

We've always joked about getting a soda fountain for the house, but I had visions of this bulky contraption that you have to keep filled with ice and gas bottles!  Uh-no way was anything like those convenience store setups coming into my house.  So one night, out of the blue, this infomercial about a home kit for making soda at home aired on television.....

SodaStream, with every flavor under the sun, even "cola zero" and diet flavors!  Can I really make carbonated soda at home with an affordable system that eliminates cases of product being bought and lugged home?  Yes, I believe so.  Are the diet flavors "aspartame"-less?  Yes they are......  Hmmm..... This sounds better and better!  My own multi-flavored soda fountain at home?  This is becoming a real possibility.

This is just the dilemma I am addressing at my soda fountain website!
