How to Make the Best Use of Social Networking Sites

Ranked #31,688 in Business & Work, #445,304 overall | Donates to Squidoo Charity Fund

Hi My name is Becky Beasley and I'm here to show you how....

I've been involved in social networking for years. A lot of the sites I've used have been around for over ten years and I've built a major database of friends that i can turn to when I'm looking for people to sign up for my business opportunities, but that's not all I do with them. I also try to not abuse my list by sending them nothing but ads. Whenever I find something neat that I think will interest them, or a free gift that I know will help them to build their own list, that's what I send them.

It's not a good idea to send out ads when you're working to build your list. The first thing you need to do is develop a sense of trust, and by sending them ads, you're just giving the idea that you're only out for yourself. You never want to do that!

Friendship always comes first before business. Even if you're building a "brick and morter" business, you always want to have people who trust you for who you are, first of all, and not just your products. You name should speak for itself. If you've been helpful and given people a good deal on things in the past and not cheated them or made them feel like you were only in it for the money, they will tend to trust you more and want to buy products or services from you, not just because of the product or service but because you are who you are.

Does this make sense?

Newbie Marketing Blogs

New Kid on the Block

You may be facing the same problems I did when I first got online. Or you may be someone who has been online for a long time and could use a refresher course in working with new people. This might be the one thing that opens your eyes to what newbies go through and help you to help them.

Here are a few of my favorite links for your enjoyment

I've assembled a few of my favorite links and I hope that you will click and check them out. They are all places you can use to get more traffic to your pages and make a lot of new friends.
Viral Url
Viral Url is an awesome 3 in one tool that helps to cloak your affiliate links, gives you a short url, and builds your contact list all at the same time. It also helps you to market your opportunity virally! So that's even more great reasons to sign up!
Friendswin Social Network
Here's another great social network that pays you. You can set up video dating and video resume's, pimp your profile like myspace, and more.
myLot User Profile
Join Mylot for free and earn a daily bit of cash in your account for discussions, adding pics and getting in on other people's discussions. We get into some pretty deep topics here. Not for the faint of heart!
A New Business Opportunity for Christians
Finally, an ethical, honest to goodness home based business for Christians that's FREE to sign up! You get your marketing tools free, your own conference calling system FREE and every purchase has a scripture for anyone to read and share the love of Christ with the world.

I'm only two cents away from paydirt.
Follow me on Twitter
Only one little post can really make a difference in how people perceive you. If you only post ads, you come across as desperate to sell something, and that's a big turnoff. If you want followers, post something interesting and it will be more likely to get you the followers who will buy from you later.
My Own Social Community and MORE...
This is where I'll be adding experts who can help you with training, and give you all the help you need to finally start to see a payday. But the biggest thing you can do is to promote yourself. Give yourself the gift you deserve and use the site to post your links and articles and grow from there.
