They usually pay 0.1-5 cents per e-mail you read.

Fishing4Mails is a well-paid site that pays you to click links and read e-mails just from your inbox! There is no minimum payout, and it pays monthly.

There are two main categories of paid to post sites...
(i) You become a member of a community, like MyLot and for every post you earn a small amount of money, and you get a small amount of your referral's earnings. This is a good idea if you are looking for a community, but is unlikely to rake in big bucks unless you have lots of referrals!
(ii) You join a site who will provide you with a list of paid jobs, where you will get paid up to 20 cents per relevant post in a forum. This can be well paying, but you will need to research what you're posting about!

Clickex Forums pays you to post in their forums- just chat, and try to make your posts lengthy for more money!
The payout is extremely low, at only $2.00, so it is incredibly easy to reach.
There are also contests, and you will get bonuses for daily activity, you get paid for inviting referrals and there are also other incentives that make it possible to reach payout a few times a day!

MyLot is a brilliant site where all you need to do is discuss your hobbies and thoughts, and you can pick up great money making tips too! All the while, you'll be making $$$ and if you invite your friends you'll get 25% of what they earn too!

If you want to earn referrals, it is a good idea to make a blog or a website.
Squidoo is an ideal site for beginners which needs minimal website knowledge. You can easily create a few web pages- called lenses- and link to the sites you use to make money! If you use referral links, you can help others while earning money!
You might want to create a blog to track your money-making journey, if you're willing to update often! Or you can create a themed blog about your hobbies. Popular ideas are makeup, gardening, knitting...
If you can find your specialty, people are bound to be interested!
Then you can subtly advertise sites you visit, or you could just sell advertising on your site.
A popular new method of earning money from blogs is signing up with a site such as PayPerPost.com which pays you to post about a product or website.
However, they will only accept blogs that are of a high standard, and have regular visitors.
