trapped in the land of good intentions, and boy am i tired.

sitting by the river, and pondering my desires.

you see i know, that one day, i'll be very rich
because i have got goals, and my mind game is just sick

I'm trapped in this land of good intentions and boy am i confused

wondering my affirmations never do produce

dream board & reprogramming, i know all the tricks
but the thing that i am missing, is the money that comes with it

when it's done i am so pumped, i go home to get started

then i think about all those books, and my fire has departed

the one that i've been waiting for, to take me to the promise land

but yet alas i do not get why, it won't work for me

i bought the book, i use the system, but no money did see

all this time i sat and thought someone else was going to solve them

because you see i know it all , i have read all the books

only thing i am really lacking, is time to put it to work

i have a boss, i have a spouse, they don't believe in me

they think that all i'm doing, is just a silly pipe dream

trapped in the land of good intentions tommorow i'll show them all

i am going to the top baby, lamborgini the house i'll have it all

but i guess there is one thing in this land, that i forgot about

it all begins with actions, that produce what i think about

i spent all the time in planning, i never did the steps

no one took me serious, $10k later i have wept

now i am stuck i cannot move, in the land of good intentions

to much info, to many choices, i can no longer focus attention

so in this land i am doomed to stay ,i don't know what to do

in the land of good intentions, this is all that we do

i'm trapped in the land of good intentions, and please don't come my way

i have way to much company, and none of us want to stay

nothing ever changes here, the seasons stay the same

in the land of good intentions, procrastination is our favorite game

so if you want a life, filled with hopes and dreams
please don't come to this place, all fruit remains green

boy did i wake up late today...

it feels good not to have to set my alarm
clock and worry if i am going to be late to work.

i still remember waking up with the dread.

"ohh man we have a meeting with the owner today
and my numbers are not that good."

the dread of having to walk in the room and tell them my last 2 days at work were fruitless, i made them no Money and worse i made me no Money.

i loved working the phones as they called it, you know when people would call in to ask about a car they saw online or in a newspaper ad.

so i would try over and over and i could not get any
one to come in.

so in my frustration i went and talked to the owner.

this guy was a cowboy for real...

the hat...

the boots...

the wrangler jeans...

but he was a genius..

he built a system that no matter who was working
for him, he could still get the same amount of profit and cars sold.

not only that, boy could this guy add the hollywood to anything.

he taught me the value of sensationalism and why it
is so important to create it.

people have a deep seeded need to believe what the
are getting is special and then to really drive
it home...
