Centuries ago, the monsoon winds made the Malay peninsula a thriving center of international trade. Today Malaysia is a culinary and cultural wonderland, with everything from crowded modern cities to nearly empty white beaches and sultry rural villages.
I took a lot of photographs during the eight months I lived and traveled in Malaysia. This lens is a showcase for my compact photo sets on Flickr.
