    Fox Cancelling Firefly was a bit like a record label ditching the Beatles after one album. I suppose it was too much to expect for them not to be afraid of a good, solid, well-written, well-acted and internally consistent sci-fi show...

    I love Nathan Fillion and firefly/serenity is one of the best scifi shows ever :)

    Gotta love Cap'n Tightpants! Firefly was the coolest sci-fi show ever and Mal definitely the coolest captain of a ship ever - yup, even shinier than Han Solo! Love this lens!

    Hi Flynn - you have to love Mal's interactions with River, like the time they had all the cows:

    R: They weren't cows inside. They were waiting to be, but they forgot. Now they see the sky and they remember what they are.

    M: Is it bad that what she said made perfect sense to me?

    Our sons introduced us to "Firefly" when the DVDs came out and we loved the show. Malcolm was my favorite character, although the other main characters were great too. I remember seeing the "Castle" episode with the clip you included (Space Cowboy for Halloween" -- quite funny :-)
