Common Mallow -(Malva neglecta)

Ranked #34,064 in Home & Garden, #609,764 overall

the Weeds in my Garden Series

one of the weeds that is always trying to take over my backyard

The chickens do a good job of keeping it down when it is young, but they prefer other greens when the mallow gets past a certain age

I'll be tilling in the leaves and a layer of straw soon as it dries up from this storm, then its just a matter of waiting for the new weed crop to sprout up for a new photo session
