Is your computer infected with malware? This could be a major problem but don't fret, if you take the proper steps you should have no problem removing malware from your computer. I would recommend getting it out as soon as possible as malware can pose a serious threat to your computer and your privacy.

But what is computer malwarel? Basically, malware is a malicious piece of software that has been designed for no other intention than to damage or spy on your computer without your knowledge. There are several different types of malware that you will want to remove from your computer. The name goes from the combination of "malicious" and "software". How does malware get its name? It actually gets it because it focuses more on intent rather than the software itself. A program cannot be thought of malicious on its own unless it is being used for those purposes. As most people know, software's purpose is all dependent on the person who created it.

So in order to fight malware you need a program that can detect spyware, adware, viruses, and other harmful files. This immediately rules out lots of programs that focus on just one kind of threat. To properly protect yourself against malware you need a versatile detection and elimination program that covers ALL threats.
Removing malware is important because you can easily get it from an unknown email that you do not scan before opening; a web site where malware is hidden in the code; from file sharing because the other person has hidden malware in their files and from sharing files via instant messaging. Malawre software is hard to remove, many of them will reinstall themselves and hide within windows system files, pretending to be good system file.

Besides simply removing malware, there are also ways in which you can prevent being infected by it in the first place. You can use such things as Internet Securities Software, a firewall and Windows update.
