Mamluke - What's in a Name?
The name "Mamluke" is but a variation on "Mameluke" "Mamluk" "Memluk" & "Mameluk" - all are transliterations from the Arabic & Ottoman Turkic word meaning 'taken into possession' 'owned' or 'slave', so when you're searching for it online, you'll see all variations and all of them are valid.
