Mamma Mia! Here we go again...
Mamma Mia! is a classic Broadway musical about the story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs by the popular '70s group ABBA.
The musical was adapted into a movie, released in July 2008. Starring Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried (Karen from Mean Girls), Julie Walters, Pierce Brosnan, Collin Firth, and Stellan Skarsgard.

ABBA
ABBA (an acronym of the band member's initials) was a European pop/dance group from the 1970's.Their first hit was "People Need Love", released by Playboy Records. According to some, it could have been a much bigger hit in the States if Playboy Records had had enough money.
The band broke up in the early 1980's, but the former members are highly involved with the production of Mamma Mia.
Mamma Mia is not the only work based off of ABBA's music - the same year the band broke up, a French children's musical production Abracadabra used 14 of the band's songs. In the early 1990's, UK synth-pop duo Erasure released an EP of ABBA covers.
In 1999, a tribue group called ABBA Teens (later renamed A*Teens) recorded techno-pop covers of ABBA songs, and became famous amongst tweens.
