Man I love being pregnant

Well we have a belly, us blokes...well I do anyway. At 38 it's necessary. Lord knows I try and keep it at bay - but there it is, like a big hairy pale...belly. And it's growing larger - my chocolate intake, fatty acids, beer and whatever other loveliness makes one put on weight - are down, but the belly is up, up, up, UP! Why? I am pregnant - well at least my wife is.

Research has shown that men develop symptoms in sympathy with their pregnant better half, you know...sickness, mood swings, etc. One of these symptoms is the massive belly....

Nobody knows why this happens. Well during my exhaustive research on the subject, I've came across literally nobody who cares that much. You've heard about women's menstrual cycles synchronizing - well nobody knows why that happens either. So...

Well look anyway our bellies grow - take my word for it, but we're blokes, we drink beer, so what sort of response are you likely to get...

1. "...'ello mate - wife pregnant again..?"

or

2. "...too many vindaloos?"

I'll give you a clue it's almost certainly not going to be the first response...

So yes I may have a belly - but at least now I have an excuse - well for another few months anyway...
