Managing Successful Programmes
MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) is now in its third edition and provides the definitive resource for senior managers seeking to deliver transformational change.
What is 'Managing Successful Programmes' (MSP)?
MSP is a best management practice framework owned by OGC (the Office of Government Commerce), a branch of the UK Government. The framework addresses an important and recently emerged management topic - programme management (or 'program management' if you are in North America).A programme is a coordination of several projects and other business initiatives that together deliver some step-change in performance and transition, something impossible to achieve by a single project. A programme's canvas is much broader than merely coordinating projects, though; it includes proactive stakeholder engagement, leadership of operational transition, and the positive, measured realisation of benefits.
