    I had never heard of a Tibetan mandala before, but this does look calming, especially the sand one. I have to admit when I saw the compass it didn't seem as calming to me, but the sand running through my fingers as I made designs...yes I could see that :)

    I love mandalas, looking at them and making them. Sand mandalas are very fascinating. Very lovely lens.

    I love mandalas. I found a mandala template that my students loved using, but teaching them how to draw one with a compass? THAT is inspired! Thanks for giving me lesson plan ideas!

    Making Mandalas was one of our favorite projects when we were homeschooling. We studied symmetry, art, and the cultures that made mandalas.
