What are Manic Depression Symptoms? 

There are two distinctive types of severe depression Bipolar Disorder and Manic Depression Disorder. Both these disorders need different treatments. The symptoms of both disorders involves unhappiness, excessive crying, loss of joy, sleeping too much or too little, low vigour, queasiness, trouble in focusing, fussiness, loss of appetence or binging, feelings of ineptitude and hopelessness, feelings of physical troubles that are not induced by physical unwellness or injury like headaches, digestive troubles, pain and thoughts of death or suicide.

Manic Depression or Bipolar Disorder both involve states of depression and highs and exhilaration, reckless behaviour, little sleep necessary, excessive energy, racing thinking's; speaking too much, out of control spending, trouble focusing, temper, abnormally exaggerated activity including sexual activity, poor judgement, competitive conduct, exaggerated temper or out of control behaviour.
Any of these symptoms can last for days or even months. The manic depression treatments may well vary to the treatments for bipolar disorder. Biologic genes, stress and anxiety play a big part in the causes of manic depression or bipolar disorder.
For people who are rightfully named with depression i.e. major depressive disorder, antidepressant medicinal drugs are often extremely effective and they must be taken regularly for three to four weeks, sometimes even longer, before the full reaction is seen.
