Manifestation Movies: Lists are good, pictures are better, and Video ROCKS!
This lens will feature manifestation and "feel-good" movies.
Making your own Manifestation Movie
~ and why I finally got serious about mine ~
If you have Picasa, the free picture utility from Google, or are running Windows, you already have everything you need to make an awesome manifestation movie of your own.You start by gathering photos and pictures of people, places, and things that have meaning to you -- things that you desire, appreciate, love, or just feel good about. (Speaking of which, that's my mom and her pet bird in the photo -- they've both been gone awhile now, but I love that photo, so I put it here to make me smile.)
Write a list of phrases that state what you want. There are 2 ways that are said to work exceptionally well. One is to always use first person, present tense. For example, say "I enjoy having perfect health" rather than "I would like to have good health". State it as if you already have it.
There's one caveat here, though. If you are reaching for something that seems unreachable, you might be better served by stating something a little more believable. For example if you earn $10/hr, saying "I am a millionaire" might be a little too far a stretch for your subconscious. Starting out with a smaller increment such as "I joyfully earn $15 each hour" or "I am generously compensated" or "I provide exceptional service and am well paid for it" or something that fits your situation and personality might work better. As your income increases, you can always adjust your phrases to incorporate larger increments. Remember, your movie should be tailor made for YOU, so forget about what anybody else might think.
The second method is to ask yourself the questions about why things are so good for you. Here are some examples to get you started:
"Why is my wealth increasing every day? Why do I feel so energetic in the mornings? Why does eating healthy foods feel so right to me? Why do I enjoy my daily exercise so much?"
The last thing you need is some upbeat music or sounds that make you feel good. Again, this is personal ... it doesn't matter what anybody else thinks, the point is that it needs to be something you like enough to hear it over and over, and if it has words, it would help if they are positive and uplifting. It might hinder the process if the message of the song is something oppositional to the message of the movie.
Use your video editing software to place the photos and the captions in the order you would like to view them. Add the music and render the movie. Ta-Dah! You're a film producer! If the music part is too hard to add at first, just run your slide show and either hum to yourself or play a CD. The important thing is to actually WATCH your movie every day for 30 days.
The More Movies You Make, The Better They Will Become
Don't expect perfection on your first try. Here's MY first try at a Manifestation Movie (I didn't figure out how to add sound until much later.)
My FIRST Manifestation Movie
Not so good - but I got better and so will you IF YOU TRY!
Does It Work?
Most People Who Try It Say YES, IT DOES!
You might want to have a pen and paper handy to jot down ideas that come to you as you view or after you view your movie. Once you commit to watching your movie every day for 30 days, start to pay attention and write down the manifestations as they begin to occur.
I have been playing around with manifestation movies for a few weeks now, not so much every day, but often enough that I'm beginning to see things happen.
I started finding pennies in parking lots first. Then I found nickles and dimes. Last week I found a $5 bill. That got my attention, and I started wondering what would pop up next ... a new job? A gift? A buried treasure? (Light touch, not too serious, playfully looking, no stress just curiosity.)
Today I got an unexpected check in the mail. That's when I decided to make this lens and get serious about watching manifestation movies every day for 30 days. Why? Because in today's mail, after 25 years of no help, I received my very first child support check. It's only $22.73, but I would have guessed my odds of ever getting a dime after 25 years to be less than the odds of my winning the lottery.
I'm a rather skeptical person by nature, so it took something this weird and unexpected to make me think there's really something to all this manifestation movie stuff.
I hope you enjoy the collection of manifestation movies I've found. I'll be using them and making my own, and I hope to have something cool and wonderful to report as time goes by.

Whoo Hoo! I'd call that Cash in Hand!
More Manifestation Movies!
There's gotta be at least ONE that will resonate with you
Sometimes a book is better, though
You can't really take a Movie to Bed like you can a Book
Sometimes a little background is helpful
Dr. Maxwell Maltz is one of my favorites; he wrote Psycho-Cybernetics long before there were "gurus" all over the place. Dr. Maltz was a real doctor ... his diploma was not from a crackerjack box ... he was a plastic surgeon, with years and years of education. Unlike some of the modern gurus of gab who are intent upon moving your money into their pockets, Dr. Maltz was a successful doctor who discovered a truth about our minds and shared it with the world.
The fact that his book is still being published today, all these years later, is a testament to the efficacy of his "prescription" for understanding the mind and making better use of it.

Psycho-Cybernetics, A New Way to Get More Living Out of Life
Amazon Price: $7.99 (as of 01/07/2010)![]()
Amid the thousands of books competing for your attention, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. If you only read ONE book this year, make it this one. Dr. Maltz was a plastic surgeon, not a guru. He noticed that people were not always able to see the drastic improvements plastic surgery made in their appearance -- he attributed this to the self image, and devoted much of his life to discovering why this was so.
You owe it to yourself to read this book, but once you read it, you will never want to let it leave your bookcase. It's a keeper.

- Sounds like a terrific way to work with the Positive Thinking. I guess you might remember Norman Vincent Peale too. Well, done, and I'm keeping an eye on you two! ;)

- The movie is a great idea! I guess I do that in my mind, but what is better than putting energy into it like you did. That definately helps!
It would be cool to see your movie, unless it is too personal.
