The UK-bound V12 Reventón, number 20 of 20 made with a minimum 650 hp and a top speed in excess of 211 mph , is the last of the Reventón cars, all of which were sold prior to its public reveal in September 2007. I figure where better to start this iconic 2448 mile road that crosses eight states between Chicago and Los Angeles then my home town... CHICAGO! Grant Park is the exact point where Route 66 begins.

So along my journey I plan to drive across the farmlands of the great plains towards St. Louis and then climb through the bluegrass Ozark Mountains following the trail blazed by Jesse James "a nice Mussouri boy".

In a couple of weeks I will end up crossing the badlands of Oklahoma where men and women during the Great Depression loaded all their belongings on to cars and trucks and followed Route 66 to a better future.

Then I figured I would stop for a chuckwagon cattle drive while I spend a couple of nights in Amarillo in West Texas. All to say I have driven the infamous Route 66!

Upon having done the gateways, I will explore the real America on a touring holiday through Washington State and Oregon on the Pacific Coast.

Starting in the green city of Seattle on the shores of Elliott Bay overlooked by snow Mount Rainier. A day's driving should take me to glacier carved Lake Quinault and rainforest within Teddy Roosevelt's Olympic National Park!

I will leave the car and spend time hiking in woods following trails such as the half-mile Maple Glade Trail on the north shore of the lake.

Finally its off to visit the never seen before (I hear its astounding) Mount Mazamas 6,500 year old eruption Crater Lake, Oregon's only national park. Cannot wait!

I want to take another road trip down this 400 mile coastal route between San Francisco and Los Angeles because it is said to be one of the greatest drives in America.

The Pacific Coast Highway known to the locals as PCH ;) takes you to visit the sharks of the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and the extravagent Hearst Castle and along the unspoilt and magnificent Big Sur in California's central coast.

I will travel down to La-La land to spot the A-listers along Rodeo Drive then travel inland the glamourous Vegas strip and the breathtaking Grand Canyon. All sights I think every one should see at least once in thier lifetime!

Bringing along my binoculars the first thing I want to do is somthing I've always wanted to do as a kid...

Depart from Victoria Island and Tofino on a Whale watching trip! Watch whales, sealions, and orcas all day as they follow schools of fish along the coast then glimpse of grizzly bear on his own fishing trip as the salmon spawn upriver.

To make it something I would never forget I will take a float plane ride into the wild country to stay at the famous Knight Inlet lodge with the chance to see Grizzlies (from a safe distance, of course). Where else can you do all that!

Since I have already been, I know this is a place I cannot ever get enough of...

I will go back and explore the national parks of the Canadian Rockies, dip my toes in the thermal mineral waters of Harris Hot Springs and catch sight of black bear and moose stumbling out of the spruce forest.

From Calgaary, to Alberta, the cowboy capital of the Canadian West is where I might buy a house or get away one day.

Across the Rockies is where I will go to vacation & spot trains spiralling in a corkscrew up the mountainside that drive through great fields of glacial ice to end up in Vancouver and across the Victoria. BEAUTIFUL!

An indoor world is Canada's answer to this Eden Project with tropical gardens, and deserts, and even a little recreation of Antarctica!

Quebec's gardens are so beautiful so first I will travel along the south shores of the St Lawrence river to Drummondville's Rose Drummond Greenhouses, the largest producer of roses in eastern Canada and growing more than three million flowers every year. I might even pick one for mom ;)

Then onto Quebec's Joan of Arc Garden with its nature trails and formal bedding gardens and Domaine Joly-de-Lotbiniere, a National Historic Site of Canada renowned as one of the most beautiful gardens in North America!

The idea of having this personal mode of transportation is no longer for just the billionaires and world leaders. And I am not only talking about American or European folks. Even in an Asian country like Korea, the graph of number of people using private jets is soaring upwards at unbelievable speed.
