    This is an excellent lens - very informative. I don't have any personal experience with these homes but I believe they allow some people to have a home who otherwise could not afford a one. Knowing the risks ahead of time is "key". Thanks for your lens. ***** to ya.

    Hi Harry-

    Delores and I are planning on moving to Yosemite Lakes Park outside of Coarsegold sometime this spring or summer. We have made an offer on a bank-owned property and it was accepted last Wednesday by the bank. Our next hurdle is to get a title report that has no liens on it that travel with the land -- such as IRS liens. (Such are not uncommon in bank repos.)

    The place is in a private development that is about 20 miles outside the south entrance to Yosemite National Park. (If you try to find it on Google maps, it is about 6 miles south of Coarsegold off Hwy 41 on Yosemite Springs Parkway.) The house is on 1.4 acres complete with deer and squirrels and blue jays, and a view of the snow capped Sierras from the master bedroom and a view of sunset across the San Joaquin Valley from the living room and kitchen.

    It is about 40 minutes from Chowchilla -- out the Raymond Road.

    We are excited!
