When I started running marathons a few years ago, I couldn't find the information I was looking for on the races. There are many marathon directories or calendars available on the net, but they are not always up to date and I had a hard time locating smaller marathons.

So I created www.42k195.com. First to fullfill my personnal needs but also to help my fellow marathon runners select their next race more efficiently.

The site provides one of the most comprehensive race directory and spots each race on a map. An easy way to locate marathons in small towns.

I hope this lens makes selection a marathon much easier than running one.
