The Sheikh will invest around 400 million euros from his own funds in a joint venture with Marbella Town Hall. The Project will transform the existing fishing port into a new 900 metres circular pier attracting super yachts and cruise liners.

The plan incorporates luxury leisure facilities including a 155,000 m² commercial centre and a 5-star hotel creating thousands of jobs into the bargain. This ambitious project aims to be completed within a timescale of three years with construction due to commence in the Spring of 2012.

Marbella is without doubt the glamour capital of the Costa del Sol.
