Picking Up Steam!

This has been an interesting process.

One thing that I've noticed is that I have a LOT more energy and am getting more things done around the house. Now, part of that is due to the fact that I changed my work schedule from 5 8-hour night shifts to 3 12-hour night shifts. This means that I am home all week with Steven and the kids, instead of feeling like I'm sleeping my life away.

Getting things organized around the house (I got the taxes done, my daughter's FAFSA for college for next year YIKES! and I cleaned out the refrigerator and half of the cupboards in the kitchen this week alone!!) is such a GREAT bonus for eating my 5&1 and moving more!

I couldn't be more pleased. I scrubbed in to a c-section two days ago and wore a smaller size scrub pants than last time!!! Pretty soon I'll be digging out my old scrubs that I "outgrew" and get to put them back into circulation!!!
