These incredible birds are amazing.
Ellen_Hartle says:
My grandson, now 8, first watched this move 3 years ago. I'm not sure how many times either of us viewed our DVD, but he found it endlessly fascinating at a very young age and I agree with him.
It was my first education about how harsh the winter weather is in Antartica. I can't imagine how the scientists and film makers survive "down there."
ashley says:

- Movie Mom, Nell Minnow Reviews March of the Penguins
- In the coldest place on earth, the only place where it is safe to care for newborns is 70 miles from the only place to find food. And so, the Antartic's hardiest and most determined inhabitants, the emperor penguins, must march, trudge, waddle, and slide on their bellies, back and forth hundreds of miles to raise the next generation so that they can march in their turn.
