    When we lived in Houston, Mardis Gras was one of my favorite celebrations; we had a lot of friends from Louisiana. I really like your music choices!

    I've got a split vote...Go to Mardi Gras by Professor Longhair comes up on my mp3 player the most, but come Mardi Gras itself, what I love is whatever song the St. Aug band is playing as they march towards the Quarter.

    Nothing like a little zydeco music to cheer you up. I ran a local blues radio show years ago and always ended the show with a little zydeco. Cheers!
