Margaret Schaut
She is a good friend and well respected in the Squidoo community. She is hard working and have created many top lens. She has won awards and have been a strong supporter of the Squidoo concept. For these and many other reasons, she is one of my choice for my personal superhero.
Margaret is camera shy...(I can't find a decent photo of her). So here is another great Margaret stand in.

Eccentricity :: Margaret Schaut

I've often been told I'm 'eccentric', and the older I get, the worse it seems to get. As I age, though, the less it bothers me. Eccentricity: 1. the quality of being abnormally centered... 2. the quality or habit of deviating from what is usual or cu...

During my 4 months as a Squidoo lensmaster I've come to appreciate Margaret as a very knowledgeable and generous member of this community. Her lenses are masterpieces and role models for me, her blog writings tell me that she is highly intelligent AND courageous. The future will try to teach us (again) that Margaret's voice was one of those we should have listened to more closely.

If you have any suggestions
for this page
I'm looking for suggestions for more good articles, photos, videos, blog posts, etc about this person. Think of this like the "External Resources" part of a Wikipedia page. What references would you add about my superhero?

- The By Invitation Only project was a wonderful, and VERY HIGH MAINTENANCE, project to encourage lensmasters to produce high quality lenses. Captain Squid took it over a long time ago, since they had more people to help out with it, I guess when they find a way to make it profitable, they'll pick it back up and actually do something with it. I'd love to see it back on its feet!

- Jack, Thanks so much for your kindness and goodness! I'm really touched- its been a hugely busy year with Squidoo and so much has been accomplished!
By the way, where would we be without you and your fabulous contributions? You helped me with mastering photography on Squidoo, you shared your wisdom about tech issues, income issues, and everything important to you. You too, are one of the Giants on Squidoo, and I don't mean just because of the number of lenses you have.
You've been a steady pillar of strength and guidance for anyone that needs it. Thanks for everything!

- You beat me to it Jack. Of course, you probably praised Margaret better thanI could have anyway.
P.S. I made this lens for the Squidoo Superheroes Project
I was invited to participate in the Squidoo Superhero Project, making 5 lenses in 2 weeks about the people who have inspired me, mentored me, changed the way I look at the world. The people I just want to say a big loud public THANKS to.If you buy anything from this page, you'll automatically (for free, of course) be sending a royalty straight to the Squidoo Charity Fund, which pays out to nonprofits like JDRF and Room to Read and Donors Choose every month.
