I love Libraries! There is Nothing Better

When I was 45 I still owned every book I ever read. Well, nearly. I certainly possessed every book I ever owned. When I moved from New Jersey to North Carolina I shipped every one of them through the post office. 13 years later I sold my house, I couldn't stand the idea of moving them across town. I sold and gave away lots of them.

And I didn't die. In fact, I felt some relief. I had more wall space for art work, or just some nice plain walls. I enjoyed that so when I moved into my new house, I culled some more.

It felt good. Zen like. I still love books, and still believe that every room needs books, but just not so many.

Enter Squidoo. I love Squidoo. I love composing, writing and even editing. I also love reading great lens. At first I started earmarking the ones I wanted to keep, then emailing them to myself, telling myself that I would get it all organized so that I would be able to easily find what I wanted, when I wanted it.

Well, the jury is out as to whether that would happen, but when I got a virus, it all disappeared.

Arghhh! Who could I trust to keep my lenses? Well, Squidoo, of course. So here it is. My personal library. All the lenses that I want to keep, in order, in a place where they will always be available. (Of course, it will take me a while to find many that I lost.)

This is a personal collection, but I have great taste, so feel free to visit and pick up some great lenses!

These are all lenses by other people, but I do list my lensography so don't forget to stop in there too!

Welcome to My Library

I created this lens for my own use, but there is so much good information here, I will not be selfish. Peruse and enjoy.

I Would Love to Hear What You Think!

But don't forget to sign the guest book. If you have any suggestions, just let me know, I am always looking for new lenses.

I have an extensive library. I've finally started donating the older ones to the local library.

The New Library

This is a great invention. Now that I have learned that books, as wonderful as they are, can be overwhelming, I am excited about this new library. Not only can you have many, many books without taking up all your space, but you don't have to worry about which ones to take on vacation! Take them all!
